PeaPod cafe was founded in 2013 by Meera and Mary Khalfan a daughter and mother team with the aim of bringing to it the things they are passionate about. Meera an ex banker and owner of sister company My Gym and Mary a boutique owner were looking to create a chilled adult space for people to meet up for a great cup of coffee and fabulous homemade wholefood and to provide a family friendly atmosphere for those with kids too!

Designed by Meera, with its spacious seating areas and dedicated kids play space; its pastel hues and quirky decoration; Peapod ticks all the boxes!

"We do not believe in commercially prepared meals and aim to buy local free range and organic wherever possible. All our meals, amazing cakes and sweet treats are made by our innovative cooks in our own kitchen. As a Wholefoods cafe none of our food has additives or preservatives and most things can be made dairy and gluten free."

Mary designs the menus to reflect the seasons taking inspiration from an eclectic mix of cooking styles.

"We love brunch and our main menu offers a fantastic breakfast menu which includes PeaPods take on the full english featuring our locally sourced butchers sausages which are 98% meat and our homemade baked beans. Our American style pancakes, freshly made from Organic ingredients served with organic maple syrup and honey are another delight and for those wanting a bit more our lunch menu is served from 11 am"

Over the past few years, Meera & Mary have seen their dream become as reality as PeaPod has become the number 1 family hangout. It has become increasingly popular for large events and celebrations as well and they have worked hard to provide a perfect group sharing menu, decorated just right to make that special day even more perfect.

The PeaPod Family has also grown over the years, and Meera & Mary could not do it all without their fantastic Team.

"We are very lucky that we have an amazing team of hardworking, caring and talented girls, most who have been with us for a few years now. They really are an asset to PeaPod."
